Registration Extended for Camp Sturgeon!

Registration has been extended for our Environmental Stewards Camp. This week-long day camp will provide youth age 11-14 with an exciting, hands-on study of the environment. Sturgeon City Planted a Butterfly Garden!

Sturgeon City now has a Butterfly Garden in its courtyard. On Saturday, May 19th, children from the Sturgeon City's Street Science program as well as volunteers from White Oak High School came to help plant dozens of plants at Sturgeon City! A local landscaper, John Diferdinand, came to teach the children about proper planting procedure and lunch was provided by Chick-fil-A. The plants were donated by the Lowe's on Yopp Road and Lorrie Otto's Seeds for Education all contributed funds to make this project a reality! Many thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors!
