Wacky Science (July 15-19)
Did you know that you can make invisible ink out of lemons? Or that a headless cockroach can survive for a few weeks before it starves? What happens when you mix dry ice with soap? These are some of the cool lessons and experiments that campers will get to experience as they explore the wonderful world of wacky science.
Things with Wings (July 22-26)
With an insect net, magnifying glass, and binoculars...discover, catch, and observe wildlife in flight this summer! As camp flies by, find brilliant butterflies, darting dragonflies, and many other six-legged animals! Hone your birding skills to create a checklist of species found at Sturgeon City. Read stories about winged creatures, make soaring crafts, and construct your very own butterfly house.
