Internship Info
The Riverworks at Sturgeon City Internship is designed to give college students practical experience in STEM education and wetland conservation. This opportunity provides individuals to educate summer youth programs about environmental science and the history of Riverworks. Interns will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Wilson Bay while providing an educational experience to our guests.
Interns will assist in designing and implementing programming for our guests and help improve the infrastructures of Sturgeon City by cleaning and updating the facilities.
This internship is open to college students of science and/or or educational majors. Internships run throughout the summer of 2010 and lasts at least 10-12 weeks. Interns are paid $8.50/hr and must be available 25-40 hours a week and be available to work some weekends.
