Fellows of the Sturgeon City Science SeriesThe Sturgeon City Science Institute
is a week-long program during the summer during which students form teams to
evaluate a hypothesis using the scientific method. The Team members gather information
in Wilson Bay, in the New River, on the beach and at a freshwater lily pond as
well as other locations. They get dirty, wet and hot – the same experiences
real scientists experience.
