Program Overview

Part of Sturgeon City's mission is to help foster an awareness, appreciation and understanding of our local environment. In doing this, our goal is to help kids get into the outdoors by providing opportunities to make science come to life. Whether it is getting wet in our bay or observing tadpoles in a stage of their metamorphosis Sturgeon City participants respond enthusiastically to our interactive programming. And when they are having fun while learning, children carry these lessons far into the future.
