Oysters are an integral part of the effort to help clean Wilson Bay. They handle the water column, helping to filter the water.

These are some of the Oysters that have been placed in Wilson Bay
Oysters have a unique filtering ability, helping to clean up about 10-13 gallons of water each day.

The Goal is to place 3 million oysters in Wilson Bay. Here researcher and field director Pat Donovan-Potts is assisted by volunteers in re-bagging some of the oysters.
