The Reaction: An environmental program.

The City Council elected to enter into an grant with the Clean Water Management Trust Fund for an innovative method of cleaning the water in Wilson Bay. The program was the Wilson Bay Initiative.

Environmental Restoration compatible with Economic Redevelopment: The Sturgeon City Park and Environmental Education Center

As a result of the success of the Wilson Bay Initiative, scientists working with the program developed the idea of Sturgeon City.
