Camp Sturgeon

Camp Information

You can choose to participate in the whole week of camp or specific days during the week. Field trips each week are optional for an additional fee and will take place on Friday unless otherwise specified. This fee covers admission to the museum/facility as well as bus costs. Some trips will not have admission which will be reflected in fees. For those choosing to not attend the field trip, there will be activities onsite at Sturgeon City. Field Trip locations are subject to change. If “unconfirmed” is listed instead of fees, you will be notified when field trip is confirmed and fees will be due the week of camp.

Campers are to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle  with them every day.  Sunscreen and bug spray is also  recommended as campers will be outside for a large portion of each day. Students will receive a camp t-shirt during camp and will be asked to  wear their camp t-shirt if they are going on an off-site field trip. Please send your child to camp in clothes that you do not mind getting stained or dirty as we often use paint, food coloring, or are outside most days each week.

Campers and parents will be asked to sign/turn in a behavioral policy. This will be attached to your registration form. Parents/guardians must accompany children to check in/out with an educator. Everyone will be required to show their I.D. when picking up their child from camp (no exceptions). Only the people listed on your authorized list will be allowed to pick up your child.
