Camp Update due to COVID-19

We are still running summer camps but with some modifications. In following the guidelines from the NCDHHS as well as the CDC, we have made the following changes to our summer camps.

- No field trips are allowed offsite. 

- There will be no extended hours offered to allow for the additional 

cleaning required to ensure everyone's safety. 

- Camp hours will be 9am - 3pm.

- Max capacity is 15 students per classroom.

June 8-12: Out of This World

Journey into space with us this week. Earth is the third closest planet to the sun, but what about all of the other celestial bodies. Learn about planets, comets, and stars throughout the week.

June 15-19: Imaginarium

Registration Closed

We love creativity! Complete different STEM challenges throughout the week and learn about some young inventors.

June 22-26: Splish Splash

Registration for 4th-6th, and 7th-8th ONLY

Join us for all things water this week.   Did you know that water is found in places other than the ocean and rivers? How about all of the different animals that call the water home? Throughout the week, campers will learn all about what makes water so amazing and the animals that live in it.

June 29-July 3: Creatures Great and Small

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Creatures Great and Small- From the blue whale to the bumble bee bat, join us this week to learn about all creatures’ great and small

July 6-10: Time Travelers

Grades: K-3rd (waitlist only), 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Travel back in time with us and learn about dinosaurs, fossils, geology and more! Join us for a fun filled week making fossils, digging for sharks teeth, and more hands on activities to learn about the world around us back in time.

July13-17: Coast to Coast

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

What makes NC coast so special? Learn about our coast, the wetlands and the differences and similarities between our coast and other coastal areas around the US.

July 20-24: Inventor's Workshop

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Join us for this popular program! Children will be using their imagination to create solutions for daily tasks that are given. Each day the children will be challenged and encouraged to brainstorm ideas for building and creating.

July 27-31: Ocean Zones

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Each day, explore a different ocean zone with us such as salinity, currents and temperature, plus learn about the unique life in each layer.   

August 3-7: What's the Matter?

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Learn about properties of matter and chemistry with us!  Experiment with some cool chemical reactions this week.

August 10-14: The Faults in Our Earth

Grades: K-3rd, 4th-6th, and 7th-8th

Did you know that the outermost layer of the Earth is called the crust? The crust has many cracks and geologists label these as “faults.” Movements of these faults and the different ways they slide over, around, and past each other can create mountains, trenches, earthquakes, and volcanoes!

Parent Information
Campers are to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle  with them every day.  Sunscreen and bug spray is also  recommended as campers will be outside for a large portion of each day. Please send your child to camp in clothes that you do not mind getting stained or dirty as we often use paint, food coloring, or are outside most days each week.

Campers and parents will be asked to sign/turn in a behavioral policy. This will be attached to your registration form. Parents/guardians must accompany children to check in/out with an educator. Everyone will be required to show their I.D. when picking up their child from camp (no exceptions). Only the people listed on your authorized list will be allowed to pick up your child.

Due to the high volume of registration  forms that we receive,  your child will not be added to the camp roster until  full or partial payments for camps have been received.
