Camp Sturgeon is a series of weekly summer camps. There are multiple age groups and themes to choose from. You can even register for one or more days or the entire week! Register participants for the grade they are going into in the fall. Check out all of the information below!
PARENT INFORMATION
Campers are to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle with them every day. Sunscreen is also recommended. Please send your child to camp in clothes that you do not mind getting stained or dirty as we often use paint, food coloring, or are outside most days each week.
Limited number of scholarships available! Will cover up to 2 weeks of the camp per child. Email programming@sturgeoncity.org to request an application.
Once you register for this program through Google Forms, your child is confirmed! We will send you an invoice through email as soon as possible but you do not need to wait for this email for confirmation. Payments can always be made upon arrival as well.

Insects live in nearly every habitat on earth, and it's estimated there are approximately 10 quintillion insects on the globe. Campers will learn all about these creepy crawlers this week!

June 13-17, 2022: Imaginarium
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th (FULL), and 6th-8th
Join us for this popular program! Children will be using their imagination to create solutions for daily STEM challenges that are given.
June 20-24, 2022: Sensory Lab
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th
Do you know the 5 senses? Tap into your senses with various hands-on activities and experiments.
June 27-July 1, 2022: Under the Sea
Grades K-2nd, 3rd-5th (FULL), and 6th-8th
Each day, explore a different ocean zone with us such as salinity, currents and temperature. Plus learn about the unique life in each layer.
July 5-8, 2022: Out of This World
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th (FULL), and 6th-8th
Journey into space with us this week. Earth is the third closest planet to the sun, but what about all the other celestial bodies? Learn about planets, comets and stars throughout the week.

July 11-15, 2022: Funny Bones
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th
The human skeleton is made up of 206 bones. Come learn about how our body works and body systems this week!
July 18-22, 2022: Jurassic Journey
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th
Travel back in time with us and learn about dinosaurs, fossils, geology and more. Join us for a fun filled week making fossils, digging for sharks teeth, and more hands on activities to learn about the world around us back in time.
July 25-29, 2022: Pop and Fizz
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th
We have lots of experiments and activities planned for the curious mind. Complete cool chemistry experiments while learning about the wonderful world of science.
August 1-5, 2022: Busy Bees
Grades K-2nd (FULL), 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th
Do you know what animals are pollinators? Come learn all about pollination and these amazing creatures.
Aug 8-12, 2022: Secret Agent

Explore forensic science and crack encrypted codes and messages with us!
