Sturgeon City Science Institute - Spots Filled (Waitlist ONLY)

This program is designed to foster the consideration of science as a career.

Students will study the different aquatic ecosystems and the organisms that live in them. 

For Rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors (and graduated Seniors)

 

Public Safety Institutes - Spots Filled (Waitlist ONLY)

Active duty Jacksonville Police officers will lead this experience

where students find out what it takes to become a police officer.

Participants will learn how to investigate a crime and do forensic work to solve it. 

 

Science Academy: Marine Biology - 3 spots remaining

This program takes a look at the job of a marine biologist by

studying and researching various marine organisms.

 

Art Institutes - Spots Filled (Waitlist ONLY)

Learn techniques from local artists and in various locations.

 
Registration Form

Fill out the nomination form using the link below. If the program you are wanting to register for is listed as having a waitlist, you can either register and be added to the waitlist or sign up for your second choice. 

Once submitted, forms will be entered into the roster for the program selected. Confirmation email will be sent once form is received and entered.

Will transportation be provided this year?


No, there will be no transportation to or from any of the sites. Parents/guardians will be responsible for dropping off and picking up students at designated location.

What does my child need to bring?


Students will be asked to bring a water bottle with them. Snacks and lunch will be provided!




Will there be a waitlist?


Yes. Once space fills up you will be placed on a waitlist. If someone drops from the program then the next student in line will be contacted. If you have a second choice then please let us know as well.




What protocols will you be following?


We will be following the current guidelines given. As of now, students will be socially distanced and required to wear a mask.
